Aldo continues their amazing Rise collaboration with emerging UK designers and the next one in line for spring is Ostwald Helgason. Debuting their accessory range aside the well known bold prints, we get to see their vision transform into shoes and a range of bags, as a first for Aldo Rise. It remains to see how into brights we are when spring comes along, but those striped pumps are guaranteed to help us break out of our monochrome winter shell.

Handle with care
My latest and easiest night time get-up. Sexy or skimpy (you decide) nighty dresses and sturdy leather coverups. How beautiful is my new monogrammed Valentino? In my absolute favorite blue and a handle to have my golden engraved initials part of my coordinated jewellery mix. Simple has never been so special.

TARSALA shoes
Girls who like boys, and their clothes, of course. I got dressed in Gant’s menswear to celebrate their new Girls in Gant Rugger campaign (insert obvious hashtag to look it up). The campaign that somewhat describes me to a T, is headed by fellow blogger, stylist and one of my favorite persons to stalk online, Columbine Smille. You know already know that I like shopping for shirts in the menswear section, but what did come as a surprise was that the perfect boyfriend jeans were found from the shelves of Soho’s Rugger store. It’s pretty damn easy to play with an oversized silhouette when everything is made for the shoulders of a man. However with sizing going down to XS, oversized does not mean drowning in fabric for us girls. Add the highest, but casual heels - understated is the name of the game.

Ehrm, it’s a new Saint Laurent bag here saying hi, accompanied by a pair pair of matching pumps. I know it and you too that Saint Laurent is making the most lust-worthy leathers right now. Turns out dropping Yves was an update that got me on my knees. But hold on, not all that glitters is Saint Laurent. I did not hesitate a second when I found my dream Acne jacket on one of my favorite sites -Vestiaire Collective, for a fraction of the original price. I’m ready to give up my little shopping secret that is Vestiaire, because my obsession will keep me one click ahead.
I’m here to underline the importance of investing in the classics. Although investing is not necessary always the case, especially when you can get a new season Chanel, Celine and definitely all things Saint Laurent for much less than you were fearing. This marketplace that does the cherry picking on our behalf, also operates fantastic authenticity checks, which keeps those nasty fakes away! It’s basically like shopping the sales all year around, with the thrill of the chase, of course.

Life is short, so do your Zara basics a favour and update yourself with a gorgeous pair of new shoes. I guarantee it will bring you a satisfaction so strong you’ll contemplate feeling ashamed of you materialistic euphoria.
Now overcome that problem, and you’re golden.

Eudon Choi is quickly becoming one of my favorite designers, and seeing what he showed for next Spring/Summer, I’ll be on board for a while. I know I stated this before, but high-street chains supporting up-and-coming designers is one of my all time favorites, so it’s time to take a look at another collaboration that has my full support. Eudon Choi’s collection for River Island’s Design Forum is his high-street debut, consisting of 16 pieces. Think soft leathers, wearable sports luxe pieces, moto detailing with an inspiration from the 90’s, I could as well have been describing my own wardrobe.

Pre Topshop
Getting tired of seeing me with an umbrella in every picture? Well I am, welcome the glorious british fall! Good side though, great coats get to come out. Taking about coats, I chose not to wear one to Topshop’s show at fashion week, mainly because this fluffy jumper does not deserve to be squished. Alternatively for a reason, it was warm enough to replace a jacket on this beautiful Sunday afternoon.
I was also captured by my favorite photographers this afternoon, see Stockholm Streetstyle’s version here.
Whistles spring
On the second day of London fashion week, I stepped into something that felt like the world’s fastest elevator that took me all the way up to the thirty-second floor of the Heron Tower. A quick recovery later I sat down to see what Whistles had in store for us. Pink, in the palest form ruled the catwalk with variations of uncomplicated silver pieces. The message was definitely a summer city safari (minus the prints...) with some 90’s cuts - the good ones that is. I was delighted to see that they continued with their now famous cocoon shapes in everything from jackets to dresses, I'm already a proud owner of the winter version. Adding to my wish list: The pink long-sleeved dress, textured white suit, and naturally - that fur top.
LFW in pictures
London fashion week is finally over and I’m looking forward to all the underrated sleep, god I’m old. Anyway there’s a lot coming up, so let’s call this overwhelming picture explosion an introduction. When I was not photographing other stylish people or ungracefully running between shows, I spent the week mostly in Tibi boots, my trusted and most loved black basics and of course in the Comptoir Des Cotonniers reversible jacket for who I acted as their official LFW ambassador! It rained more than normal, I swear (see grumpy rain faces and my fancy James Smith & Sons umbrella) but I still managed to tick off almost everything on the hectic schedule. Now it’s a much needed week off until I take on Paris!
Other noteworthy accessories include a perfect, white Vanessa Bruno bag, H&M overknee boots, trusted Ray-Bans and a bag you know way to well now, my Chanel boy.
