CHOO.08°

VICTORIA BECKHAM dress

Backing up a few weeks when we had just eased into the perfect spring climate in London, I welcomed the barelegged season with Jimmy Choo for the launch of their new, street-strong collection CHOO.08°. Creative director, Sandra Choi wanted to address the fast paced life of today’s modern women and so the biker spirited, brogue heavy collection was born, with of course a good selection of city suitable flats, too.

Don’t miss the pop-up takeover of CHOO.08° at London’s Selfridges and check out mine and the other girl’s London recommendations on JimmyChoo.com

ALEXANDER WANG 'Edie' pumps

The state of my mind and body right now. I’m in Finland for a few weeks embracing spring and giving a lot of thought to things. I’ve been just given the keys to my new Helsinki flat, that will be my second home for when London gets too overwhelming. Dark, minimal decor will grace a brand new black parquet in a few short weeks, to at least keep my visual world clutter free.

It's the pants

It’s the pants, could I give it to you any straighter? Believe me dressing up as a job is apart from being the luckiest girl alive, sometimes not such a given. I visited Paris with Comptoir Des Cotonniers last week and was surprised that I managed to find a style of tailored trouser that I did not have in my closet yet. Straight cut with the perfect lazy fit, ideal for the casual tailoring that I’m strongly feeling at the moment, and just like that, I’m right back to being the luckiest girl.

When in Paris, we made sure to visit the neighbourhoods of the enchanting La tour Eiffel, not that you can see her, but I promise it was what made me do a double take on whilst crossing the street. All black everything, per usual, however I’m convinced that leather and lace never get’s old. Come what may, worn out jeans or a pair of pumps that I’m sure you’ve seen enough on this blog, this little Victorian number has enough charter to dress up any old pair of, well, anything. High-street at it’s best.

Let's talk about Malone Souliers

Malone Souliers AW14

Hello there cyber world and thank you for sticking by! It’s been a busy week indeed, no Coachella this time, but I’ve managed to map in London, Paris and Helsinki in the past five days. Congratulations to me.

So whilst I filter down the whatIwore’s from the past week, let’s have a look at Malone Souliers, a footwear brand you should know. London based Mary Alice Malone thinks that, and I quote, ‘A high heel is a magician’, so I’m glad to be championing someone who agrees with me that the sneaker trend in well overdue. I stopped by the AW presentation accompanied by the ever so talented Clym to help me portray the new collection of high mules, pointy toes and lace-up’s. Safe to say that with the promise of added comfort and a tailored made-to-measure service, I’ll be rewarding my feet with a pair of Souliers in no time.

Jumping into summer time

Two weeks away from London and it looks like I returned to summer, criteria for that being I've not covered my toes once during the past week. Although the focus is on mules everywhere this season, I’m going to focus on this dress combo that I picked up in Dubai, pre-layered pieces are a savior for both lazy and anxious people. This piece is somewhat like a jump-in, but an extremely chic version that is.
But yeah, let's totally talk about mules for the next 6 months or more.

The tuxedo dress

SAINT LAURENT bangle

Time to turn to heads towards a new brand. McQ might be familiar to most and although I’ve been a fan of the younger, more affordable line of the infamous Alexander McQueen, I lately realized that I don’t own any of the pieces. So with a promise of quality and a guarantee of original designs, I was eager to make a change. Favorite thing in the current collection? No doubt the tuxedo dress. Can there be a more sexy take on the suit? Paired with a white shirt to maximize the impact, needless to say more.
