An extempore trip to Monaco had me watching the Formula race from the best seats in the house port, so two days in one of my favorite cities, Nice, was just what the doctor ordered. Thank god for the long, bank holiday weekend, 4 days now feels like 2 weeks. But life goes on, or sometimes backwards - Hello Mid-February weather. Out comes the winter coats, and so my stunning Christopher Kane ‘barely there’ silk dress is just a faint, distant memory.

London is starting to feel like home again, almost enjoying public transport and falling asleep to the traffic noise. But on to the reason why you’re probably here, there is a new boy in my life. It’s not actually new, but the find of my life as the bag from the first ever Chanel Boy collection dropped on eBay one sunny afternoon. So introducing my third (One, two). The guilt had me hiding it from you for a whole month, but now that that’s settled, can I get and Oh?!

What should we talk about first? The comfortable safety-sweater that I pulled out from the back of my closet, or the slightly more complicated but nevertheless wowey shoes that I’ve climbed up on? Life is funny, I seem to unconsciously match my outfits with my current mood. I feel a bit torn between two cities right now, one being the safe but happy choice, the other exciting in so many ways. So for now I’m opting for the more thrilling choice, after all I am a shoegirl and we all know that comfort zones are built to be pushed out of.
