What defines the art of seduction? A capturing smile, persuasive eyes, an alluring scent? As a proud Scorpio (God do I love being a one) us minxes are described as mysterious charmers in our own right who live for the thrill of the chase. A little laugh here, a vampy glance, there are two things that has me getting away with murder on a daily basis, apart from my star sign, it’s of course being blond.

‘The essence of femininity, a concentrate of sensuality’ is what the newest, Kenzo Jeu d’Amour perfume is about, love as a gamble, a game. The law of attraction is unexplainable, invisible but can be felt stronger than any other emotion. It’s driven by positivity and ruled by human nature, where all those nervous smiles and characteristic hiccups are part of the play. So lay your cards wisely, remembering that winning is not always the point of the game.

I had the pleasure of trying out the latest ‘Smokey Nudes’ range by Bobbi Brown. With my busy lifestyle and admittingly short attention spam, the collection could not have been a better match. The all-in-one, 8-shade eye palette allows you to create either a dramatic nighttime or soft daytime smokey eye in just minutes. That all-important final touch can be achieved with the ‘Shimmer Brick’ highlighter, which landed as my favorite for giving a glow without the glitter, a surprisingly difficult concept to come by nowadays. For someone who prefers matte, neutral tones, to match my never ending love of all things monochrome and all black, this range has been a dream to dip my brushes into!

I created my 10 minute, foolproof, smokey eye with outlining the lash-line with the kajal liner and smudging it, no steady hands needed! I then applied the darker nude from the smokey eyes palette on my eye lids, blending it outwards. Followed by working the black from the lash-line up. A few back and forths with the beige and the black to have them perfectly balanced, followed by a stroke of the highlighter eyeshadow under my eyebrows and in the inner corner of my eyes. I then finished off with a thin line of the kajal liner again and two layers of the smokey eye black mascara. Voilà!

Making the most of the last summer days in London with undiscovered rose gardens and seizing the beauty of our central Hyde Park. The pointy pumps get a rest whilst the streets still allows bare toes, these are the glorious in between days of bare legs and big coats. Ask any blogger and they’ll tell you every change of season is much appreciated, lucky me for living in the part of the world where I get to experience all four seasons. Look at me phasing the British weather. Because I’m happy.

No need to ask me twice to create a story to illustrate the launch of Paco Rabanne’s beautiful, new One Million fragrance. I’ve been wearing the previous Lady Million since I can remember, but now the golden perfume that represents all things luxurious has been updated with the an intriguing ‘Eau My Gold’ fragrance. Can we take a moment to applaud the name?

While the perfume speaks loud, basking in it’s glamorous femininity, my version is a bit more subtle. My very own Golden Rule follows in the footsteps of nothing less than my beloved high heels. From the shoes I dreamt of as a child, the designer stilettos that I saved up to in my teens, on to the aesthetics that I eventually build a career around. Fellow shoe lovers will understand that those all important inches does not only help you walk tall, but it acts as a reminder on every step that the fighter in you can rise above any given situation. It both physically and mentally lifts you on to a higher level of live. That, if anything, is why I wear 5 inch and up heels even when I pop out to buy milk.
