STELLA MCCARTNEY shoes

Brace yourself, no arched ankles for a change. Flatforms usually make me cringe, even the name is ugly. However, on rare occasions a raised flat pair comes along that tickles my fancy. I am the self acclaimed heel lover but when I find a shoe that brings something new to the table, I’ll be the first one to buy it. Well, I might have been among the first to own these but it took me months to choose these over my beloved heels for a day... What can I say, priorities.

Another thing worth mentioning is the Finnish Onar scarf that has kept me warm all winter. Ethically sourced from existing materials and now even available on Farfetch. Take it from The Times, this brand is the one to watch.

MARNI coat
CHARLIE MAY knit
ZARA pants
SAINT LAURENT ring
BALENCIAGA bag
GIANVITO ROSSI shoes

I’m here to tease you with yet another amazing coat. Adding a versatile Marni piece to my ever growing collection of coats, that now swallows about 80 percent of my wardrobe. ‘The bigger the better’ is what I always think in store, which I hate myself for later when I’m trying to squeeze it into the racks at home. The weather here is an utter struggle, I’m working hard on disguising it. However, I realized that I can minimize the weather damage by giving all my biggest coats a run for their money by actually wearing them. Less leather jackets, more dressing for the winter. Sounds like a given? For a blogger it’s not, dressing seasonally inappropriate is what we do best. Furs in the summer, ‘may this scarf be my coat’ in the winter. After too many colds, I’m planning (or more like forced) to do rest of my winter dressing the old fashion way.

The Finn

Wrapped in the softest and may I ad my favorite fur, London’s temperature drop has driven me to the bottom of my bed, so I’m forced to document the freeze with some pictures from Finland. Adding a little interest to a dark coat, the fact that this tricolored fur is called ‘Finn’ is most likely a coincidence, but that it was one of the reasons why I felt compelled to ad it to my collection - total fate.

SANDRO coat
CELINE shirt
& OTHER STORIES pants
CELINE shoes

True to myself, I’m back in black just when I promised myself that 2015 will be the year of more cheerful hues. I also promised myself to avoid adding more black to my wardrobe, at least for a few months. Then came a spontaneous outlet trip to Bicester Village, were all my ‘rules’ flew out the window around the time we pulled up on the parking lot. Two days of intense shopping and I can honestly say this winter blues is disappearing as effectively as I was clearing out the designer racks. Money just bought me happiness.

CHARLIE MAY skirt
H&M TREND coat

Wow it’s been a slow start to 2015. Lack of vitamin D has pushed me into a deep state of hibernation that I’m effectively curing with retail therapy. This seasons sales is what’s keeping me alive and the thought of dressing up in colour is an option again. I wanted to document this woollen combo that I’ve been relying on all winter, leave it up to me to destroy a perfectly cozy knit duo with a pair of SM heels, just the way I like it.
