Wearing my new earrings that I lusted after here a few weeks ago.. Nowadays by the time I put up a 'want' post the items tend to already be in mail... I’m so weak.

The main reason for my trip back home was to meet our new family member Lily, it's crazy how much she looks like our old dog Bon Bon, I'm even teaching her all the same tricks. I completely forgot how much joy a new puppy can bring.

I decided to extend my city getaway with a few days, which means I’m running out of things to wear but then again the plan was never to spend that much time dressed here in Finland anyway. So here we have yesterday's, I even forgot my jewellery box home which sometimes can be quite a good thing.

Shoe-wise I’m back to clogs, giving my toes a break form the sweezy pointy. Not sure how long the break will last, but I’m sure loving my new cut-out Miistas, that also is out in a beautiful off-white.

Some backstage shorts from David Koma’s spring collection that I found in my archive. The collection was so beautiful that I felt the need to post these, although the next AW collection was shown months ago. How perfect would that white ensemble be for a fancy summer party, or just in general to have in one’s closet?

While we are on the subject of pretty pointy pumps, I remembered this photo I took at River Islands press day a few months ago. I was already planning outfits and praising the best high-street shoes of the season, when I found out they have been dropped from production. So sad, right? I think we need to try to make them happen! Now who's with me?

After spending the day in the city, me and my sister stopped by some seaside streets to snap these. Helsinki has been sunny, beautiful and quite brilliantly mad lately as we host the ice hockey world championships this year. I wore basics including a beautiful ice cream colored knit from Muriée that worked as a kind reminder to never underestimate the comfort of cashmere. In this case even organic cashmere, so good for more than just my being.

A pair of pointy, strappy Wang pumps were an obvious choice for me this season. I decided on the Danica pumps in black, although I am really lusting for the white version by now…. My most comfortable Wang shoes so far, ten points to him for moving in this direction both style- and comfort-wise.

It's amazing how much you can do with shoes and at FINSK they certainly get it. I stopped by their showroom to see some of the new 'project' styles and I'm now even more convinced I need a pair of 7 inch heels in my collection.
