Black favorites at Elie Saab

A week ago I was in Paris, you know that brief trip that went by a little too fast... Anyway it was, as I’m sure you all know, the last stretch of fashion week. So after a macaroon lunch at Ladurée with the ever so lovely Stylight crew, we skipped through Champs-Élysées to see the Elie Saab show. Although there were colours in form of pale pink, green and a variety of florals, I was especially mesmerized by the black lace. Timeless and understatedly on point, versions of black designs are always the most appealing to me. I thrive for the reinvention of the ever trusted deep V, the modernization of a jumpsuit and fresh take on dramatic lace. Needless to say that on this Monday afternoon, I experienced all the above.
