Couture fashion week got an impressive ending for me, not that I got to experience the whole hype this time, just the cream of the crop, quite literally as you can tell. I was whisked away to the ever so charming Paris, for a weekend to experience the new direction of underwear specialist,
Simone Pérèle. The lace know-it-alls, that I’ve grown very fond of lately, presented a wide range (wide being an understatement for the 20 minute show) of silk, tulle, underwired and subtly exposed, a whole range of styles that really speak for themselves. Combinations of purples and greys, without forgetting the bright reds and the new take on black, will be dropping into stores early June. So it’s about time to get into a Valentine’s mood and let the love experts (read French) lead the way.
